Only 3 More Followers Needed For Contest!

Hi All,

Oh my, we only need 3 more followers to the blog until there are 200. 
Once there are 200 followers, I will have another contest, as I promised, for a free blank (unpainted) doll kit of Katelyn, my teen doll. 
She is about 4 1/2 " tall (she can be made taller or shorter to suit your needs), she is very versatile and can be either a young girl or a young woman.

As you can see she can have very different looks.  You can use your creativity and imagination to paint her and costume her any way you like.

I am Still Working On Chantelle

I am still working on Chantelle in between orders. I am trying to keep her gown simple but elegant. I want it to drape nicely and realistically and I don't want to cover up those pretty gathers I worked so hard to put in. She is coing along nicely.

A look at scale - 1/4" - 1/2" - 1/12th dolls

I have been painting doll kits for some of my customers.  I happen to be working on some tiny 1/4" & 1/2 scale dolls and it amazes me how much of a difference there is in the size of each scale.  1/4" scale is so tiny, her head is smaller than a small pea, and the 1/2" scale lady has a head just a bit bigger than a pea.  The !/12th scale lady is about 5 1/2 ", the 1/2" lady is about 2 3/4" tall, and the tiny 1/4" scale lady stands a mere 1 1/2" tall (if even).

Do any of you work in smaller scales very often? I prefer 1/12th scale myself but will on occasion dress some 1/2" scale dolls as well. If anyone wants to share photos of their smaller dolls, send me the photos and I can post them.

Someone New - Chantelle

I had my camera out today, so I couldn't resist giving you a sneek peek of "Chantelle".  She will be a lovely lady in a fancy gown.  I love her dark red hair, but I have always had a thing for redheads!

Finishing up some orders and then some FUN stuff!

Hi All,
     It has been awhile since I posted.  I have been working like crazy to finish up my orders!  If your ordered a Victoria, and haven't received her, the rest of the orders will be going out either Monday or Tuesday!  I appreciate every one's patience.  I got a bit behind during the holidays.  If you ordered other dolls, they are also going out by the end of next week or beginning of next.
